Happy New Year from Toshidama Gallery

We are looking forward to an exciting year at the gallery in 2011. Our first show of the year  opens on the 18th of January and will be devoted to the woodblock prints of Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1899). We’ll post more information on this exhibition later in the month. Other shows for 2011 will include Warrior Prints of Nineteenth Century Japan, Artists of the Osaka School and Beautiful Women in Japanese Prints.

There’s still two weeks to see our current Kabuki exhibition and purchase one of the very fine Japanese woodblock prints that we have for sale. In the meantime we are presenting a slideshow entitled Heroes of the Floating World featuring prints available from Toshidama Gallery. Once again, a happy and prosperous New Year to you all.
